"We chose BioMed Central because online, open access publishing makes our research available to the widest possible audience, as soon as research is available, and because research is automatically saved in open access repositories the minute it is posted on our journal site," said Richard Kreider, Editor-in-Chief of JISSN. The International Society of Sports Nutrition (ISSN) is the only nonprofit academic society dedicated to sports nutrition and growing the science of applied nutrition. JISSN, the society's official journal, publishes a range of article types related to the role of exercise and nutrition on health, disease, rehabilitation, training and performance.
