Complaint about Calprofen (ibuprofen) and Calpol (paracetamol) advertisement in 'She' magazine, UK

The MHRA (Medical and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency of the UK) was alerted to two advertisements for Calprofen and Calpol. One published in 'She' magazine was considered by the MHRA to give the misleading impression that both Calpol and Calprofen may be used in children of the same age groups, since it did not sufficiently differentiate between the two products.

The particular version of the advertisement was no longer in use and the company confirmed that it would not be used in the future.
