Giuliani Enjoying Good Health, Says His Doctor

Rudy Giuliani, Republican presidential candidate, is in good health, his doctor declared after the candidate had been hospitalized for a severe headache. Dr. Valentin Fuster said "It is my medical opinion that Rudy Giuliani is in very good health."

In 2000 Giuliani had prostate cancer. According to him, he is now cancer free. Dr. Fuster said Giuliani was suffering from flu-like symptoms, which included tiredness and headache. Giuliani is off on a three-day visit to Florida, continuing his campaign trail.

Giuliani told reporters that he is "feeling great..feeling terrific," in Largo, St. Petersburg earlier today.

Several medical tests, which were carried out at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, revealed that he is fine. Giuliani was later examined again in New York and those tests also came back normal.

Dr. Fuster said there is no change in Giuliani's health status. He added that no prescription medications were given and that he recommended that the candidate lighten his schedule for a few days.
