RCGP comment on £73 million for new junior doctor training programme, UK
"The Royal College of GPs welcomes this commitment by the Government to put £73 million into the two-year foundation programme. This is something we have been pushing towards for a long time and hope this programme will ultimately persuade more doctors to become GPs - something the UK is in desperate need of. The initiative will therefore be of benefit to all - patients, doctors and the NHS."
