Introduction
All employers need to be aware that new rules will apply from 1 October 2004 to the way in which they should handle matters which might find their way to an Employment Tribunal. This affects not only disciplinary and dismissal procedures but also a range of other issues which can be raised by employees.
The BMA has teamed up with ACAS to present the new rules in a concise and straightforward manner, tailored to the needs of General Practitioners and their Practice Managers
This course will enable delegates to:
- Familiarise themselves with the new rules
- Review their own procedures to ensure compliance
- Refresh their understanding of good practice
- Reduce the likelihood of Employment Tribunal appearances
Who should attend?
- General Practitioners (particularly those with responsibility for staffing issues)
- Practice managers
