Intelligent InSites Announces Major New Release Of Enterprise Real-Time Location Software Platform For Healthcare
The InSites Platform improves operational performance and promotes a lean healthcare environment by providing healthcare organizations with a single system capable of locating patients, staff, equipment, and inventory. The location information is collected in real-time through a variety of locating technologies, including ultrasound, RFID, infrared, and Wi-Fi. The latest release of the subscription-based software platform includes important new features for the hospital's emergency and OR departments. In addition to the current floor plan, room status, and various other views, care providers will now have advanced location-enabled applications specifically designed to provide up-to-the-second status and optimize the workflow in the ED and OR. Several significant enhancements to the existing asset management and inventory management applications are also in this release, including the ability for a care provider to automatically generate an equipment work order and notify maintenance simply by pressing a button on the equipment's asset tag. The new features are currently being implemented in several locations across the United States and in Canada.
