Vitalise Increases Choice For Disabled People And Carers In 2008-2009, UK
The new-look brochure, produced in consultation with the charity's service users, features the range of residential breaks and special interest weeks available at Vitalise's five purpose-built, accessible UK Centres, beautifully located in Cornwall, Essex, Nottingham, Southampton and Southport. Accessible destinations in Europe complete the charity's portfolio of breaks for disabled people and carers.
Championing freedom and choice in respite care, Vitalise's five UK Centres offer an extensive programme of activities, excursions and special interest weeks in a relaxed holiday setting, backed up by 24-hour care on-call and personal support from experienced staff.
Complementing the charity's UK portfolio are accessible holidays in luxury hotels in Germany and Spain, including Majorca, offering greater flexibility to the independent disabled traveller.
Toni-Marie Barker, a wheelchair user and regular Vitalise guest, said: "Being able to be away from home, safe in the knowledge that I will receive 24-hour care of the highest quality, means so much to my family and me. I am able to spend my time in a beautiful, relaxed setting, where I have the freedom to choose how my care is delivered and how my holiday is spent.
